Love to travel? Love to eat? Making the most our of your RV adventures

Portland, OR (September 9, 2011) - The RVCookingShow.com returns to their northwest roots to share their 11+ years of RV experience with 28th Annual Portland Fall RV & Van Show attendees. Show participants will pick up valuable RV travel tips and ideas coupled with delicious family friendly, RV-easy recipes.

Full-time RVer Evanne Schmarder, RV Cooking Show producer and host, will present four unique seminars to interest both new-to-the-lifestyle and veteran RVers alike. Each of the four seminars will be presented each day of the show on a convenient rotating schedule allowing attendees to catch them all in the same day or at their leisure throughout the Portland Fall RV & Van Show, September 15-18, at the Portland Expo Center.

RV Cooking Show will set up camp at booth 610 and sessions will be held Thursday-Saturday at noon, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm and Sunday at 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm.

Providing real-life on-the-road experiences and passion for the great outdoors as well as easy, elegant eating, seminar topics include:

Getting There: 100-mile away getaways and great grilling

Spend more time camping and less time driving at some fabulous 100-mile (or less) away getaways. That means plenty of on-site grilling time, too. Join us as we fire up the grill and show you how to prepare sliders, grilled pineapple and slaw…dinner’s on!

Stay Smart: Finding your perfect park, pizza and panzenella salad

Private parks, public parks, kid-friendly camps, adult resorts, discount clubs and more. How do you find a park that’s perfect for you? And talk about personal, learn how to make personal flatbread pizzas on the grill and perfect panzenella salad at this super session.

Free Fun: 11 RV adventures that won’t break the bank and one diverse chicken

Sure, you could spend a fortune on your RV adventure but why? Pick up 11 terrific RV adventure ideas that are fun and (mostly) free. And want more hassle-free fun? Check out some no muss, no fuss ways to use a roasted chicken, delicious!

Preserving Memories: 5 ways to track your RV travels over a cool beverage

How do you remember the special RV trips you’ve taken? We’ll look at 5 fantastic ways to keep the memories alive as we whip up a few cool concoctions to make the walk down memory lane even sweeter.

"This is what RVers do, share their experiences, trade stories and enjoy meals together. Who knew that 11 years after launching our RV adventure we'd be back "home" doing just that! I can't wait to visit with other RV and camping enthusiasts, presenting these exciting session topics and dishes and taking questions from the audience. I'm ready to rally," remarked Schmarder.
